Musk’s grift is to portray himself as a some kind of “rebel” against the establishment and elites, as a “good guy”, even though he belongs to the elites as a billionaire.
Call his bluff. Get him away from politics and let him spend the next eight years building the next Balan Wonderworld with cameos from Joe Rogan and Donald Trump.
Better yet, let him collab with Peter Molyneux, and Musk will be bankrupt before the game is released.
His games will fail so hard it isn’t funny. The only people who speak positively of his games are his fans who will buy them and play them for only 10 seconds (and never again) before gushing about how cool they are.
Isn’t this moron still playing Diablo 4? Can’t say that gives me much confidence in his greatness. I’d also bet both nuts that his games feature microtransactions as their core mechanic.
The game will cost you 90$ to start, but you need to continually be paying money to play it. He will claim it is an authentic 90s online game because in some places back then, you paid for the internet per minute of use.

It has its uses, but its a tool, not a replacement for actual hardwork and talent - and if you try to make it be, you’ll just get hot garbage out.

Producing hot garbage is kind of Elon’s thing.
I want them to do this, produce some absolute slop that nobody plays or wants, lose a colossal sum of money, and forever be an example of what not to do.
Elon kind of already did that with X and unfortunately it hasn’t taught him anything.
He stands to gain more through his political influence than he has lost with Twitter, and the latter arguably helped him get the former. By itself, his acquisition of Twitter is and will remain a loss; in the grand scheme of things, though, it was a sort of investment that is likely to pay off handsomely. If he’s learnt anything, it’s that the United States have devolved into a plutocracy that capital can steer off the common interest of their citizens and the common good.
Thing is, he has a big enough bankroll to just keep throwing shit at the wall until something sticks. 100Mil for a triple-A game is effectively pocket change when you’re worth a couple hundred billion. He’ll keep trying until he gets bored or stumbles onto the next Fortnite out of sheer luck.
