I want to know if any option is available for cross-posting.
Crossposting is broken on lemmy right now, period. It’s not a Jerboa issue.
How so?
Oh OK then but how other user cross-post?
From the webui
How so? It works fine in browser as far as I can tell
I switched to Eternity app from Fdroid, now I can
@sag Fediverse is amazing.
I know My Mastadon account.
Sorry i don’t know that answer…
However, after i tried Jerboa… i switched to “Connect”. I strongly recommend it. Try it, you might like it.
I will give it a try but where can I can download it’s APK(Degoogled My device now I don’t have Play Store).
You could use Aurora Store for Play Store apps as well.
I asked them elsewhere in the thread and Connect doesn’t have crossposting either, fwiw. I have no idea why they’re posting in this thread, their answer has nothing to do with your question.
I have both Connect and Jerboa installed, they’re both fine. Connect looks prettier, and the search is definitely better. I end up using Jerboa more out of the two.
When I want to cross-post from mobile I end up switching over to Lemmy’s mobile web interface, which can be saved to your home screen as a progressive web app. Not a Jerboa-native solution, but I’ve tried a lot of the Android apps and I haven’t seen any of them support a proper cross-post.
Try an APK mirror site.
Does connect have crossposting? I don’t see it listed in the triple-dot menu for a post.
Sorry, I don’t see the option. But, very easy drop menu to copy Lemmy URL or imbedded article URL. So, kinda easy enough to use for a new post in which ever group you were planning to cross post.
Not a huge fan of cross posting. I’d rather not see the same exact image three times back to back in my subscribed feed from the pics, aww, & dogs communities of someone’s fur-baby. If Lemmy ever adds cross-posting there should also be a Detect Duplicates option.
How 'bout don’t? If a post isn’t good enough to thrive the first time, it isn’t worth posting multiple places.
