What on earth makes you think that anyone on Lemmy is gonna change their mind? Look at the replies. You’ve noted the hate and how I’m one of the few standing up for third parties.
There is no one here to convert. I have some supporters interested in the articles and I’m glad they have something to read, but they’re already third-party people. It’s the same as all the pro-Harris posts in this sub. No one’s switching to Harris because of those posts — people post them because they like the content, and others who share their views enjoy reading them.
It’s the same concept. Not everything has to be a grand agenda. I find these articles interesting, so I post them.
I also post a ton of Neanderthal and paleoanthropology articles in the science sub. Do you think I’m trying to change people’s minds about Neanderthals? No, I just find it interesting, and others who do will read them.
