        The issue is not the front doors but rather the rear doors. I own a Model Y and the manual rear door release is hidden to the point where it may as well not exist. There is a 0% chance someone unfamiliar with a Tesla would know to look there especially in an emergency.

        I generally really like the Model Y but this is one thing that is always in the back of my mind.

        Model X: If the power drops out, you can open the rear doors using a mechanical release found behind the speaker grille, which you need to remove from the vehicle’s door, the manual adds.

        Fair that you absolutely should research, but having to disassemble my door to get to the manual release isn’t something I’d think to look up. It’d just be luck if I happened to come across that in research.

        Same here. The normal button is the hidden feature that I have to teach passengers to use.
