Hey, i’m new to the whole lemmy thing and I’m curious if there’s any way to get around jerboa not letting me login due to server version, pic attached

Based on comments in other posts, this instance has not upgraded yet because captcha is not working in the most recent version.

I’m unsure if there’s a way to bypass that screen, I’m still logged in on mine but I did it before the app update.

Thank you for the info, loving this community already as opposed to reddit where I would’ve been downvoted to oblivion for asking a question

You can use an older version of Jerboa for now. I’m posting from 0.0.33 right now. There’s also now thunder for lemmy and connect for lemmy but they’re newer so not as fully featured.

Edit: I have also since found Summit and Lemmynade

I’m still holding out for Sync for Lemmy though. (kbin support will be added in future releases too!)

sh.itjust.works has been updated to 0.18 now anyway btw.

I’m having trouble now too actually. I tried installing the updated version from Fdroid since our server was upgraded but it fails. Even if I uninstall the version I got from the Play Store.

            It’s odd.
