This video was made with the help of some people in brasil who really studied DPRK and the Korean War.
I’m trying to figure out if and how can I put some subtitles together in the official channel, and I’m trying to contact the channel directly to ask if they have any plans to do that.
Just watched it. It is really good. Sadly the lack of english subtitles will probably hurt its reach.
It would be awesome praxis if a Brazilian comrade could put some english subtitles on this video.
and spanish subtitles as well! Don’t forget about us!
Does youtube support community subtitles or something like that?
I think it used to. Don’t know if it still does.
If they don’t maybe a browser extension?
I actually tried to message a couple of people trying to get help from the author so we can translate the subtitles, I’ll let u people know if I have any luck. I just asked for the original portuguese subtitles, then we can translate it and the author will only have to upload the new subtitle
Castanhari’s video is truly great. I haven’t checked it for this video, but the portuguese to english auto subtitles tend to be good enough to understand for the people that only speak english.
Also, the video originally had a warning about violent content and eventually got taken down, but was quickly restored/reuploaded. From what I saw people commenting it was because of a single image that needed to be blurred or removed.
There’s a bunch of libs in the nested comments and there are quite a few blatant anticommunists there, also some people telling others to visit some right wing channel that is supposedly “dismantling the lies” of this video, lol.
I’m also surprised Guilherme Briggs is narrating the video, hearing his voice in this is awesome.
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
