I randomly read their page on themselves, and they cite influence from somebody named Nick Land a lot. Looked him up and holy shit:

      https://qz.com/1007144/the-neo-fascist-philosophy-that-underpins-both-the-alt-right-and-silicon-valley-technophiles

He advocates for racial separation under the belief that “elites” will enhance their IQs by associating only with each other.

Land also rejects the idea that Dark Enlightenment has fascist elements, writing that “Fascism is a mass anti-capitalist movement".

Capitalism has not yet been fully unleashed, he argues, and corporate power should become the organizing force in society. Land is vehemently against democracy, believing it restricts accountability and freedom. The world should do away with political power, according to Dark Enlightenment, and instead, society should break into tiny states, each effectively governed by a CEO.

I find followers of Nick Land to be even more repulsive than the average neo-fascist, they are deeply misanthropic and have such twisted views on technology and how it should be used.

I learned about Land a few months ago and started reading a little about him. He has this weird fascination with Shanghai because of its tech scene, thinking it’s where the “singularity” will emerge and finally replace all humans (I’m probably butchering it here but I don’t want to spend time looking up this trash again).

There’s a philosophy platform called Theory Underground that has a course dissecting Land, but it’s paywalled. They have some videos on YouTube with 1Dime, discussing Land.

Anyways, he seems to be the atheist, ancap tech bro’s equivalent of Jordan Peterson, putting out pseudo-intellectual word soups to stir the alt-right.
