Right now it sorts in a seemingly random order. Any way to sort comments by “top”?

When viewing a post, tap the three lines on the top right. That opens a menu for a variety of sorting options.
Also, any way to hide child comments?
Not sure if you are serious. In case you are:
Hide a comment (or a child comment and all children) by tapping the child (avoiding any links if there are ones in the body).
I meant by default.
On RIF is fun for instance, I had it setup so that child comments would only appear when I clicked on them.
