It really makes you wonder what an entire city like this could be like, with all the capabilities of rail-based rapid transit and greater economies of scale for making the tiny electric vehicles. Trams everywhere, cargo trams for stocking larger stores with goods, metro systems, intercity rail, etc.
Zermatt’s great but I still see a lots of those heavy electric vehicles barrelling along the asphalt roads at 30kmh. It’s better than everyone having a car but it’s still a long way from this.
