Hello, when I try to download the Voyager app it tells me my phone is unsupported. Is there a solution to this?
I’m on a Samsung a21s with Android 12.
On a side note, what the heck is a Google Octopus?
It’s what OP named their Chromebook
Ahh got it. I never rename my devices so I thought that was a product name.
It was just the default name and I never bothered to change it.
You should be able to install it without the play store tho?
Well yes I could. I was just wondering why my phone wasn’t supported.
Just now finding out about this. What advantages would this have over the Web app?
Your browser history isn’t filled with Voyager.
Other than that, nothing much.
Never was because I use Native Alpha Plus. I’m on the Android App now and it’s a bit smoother and I like this “Android Mode” as well. Very nice
Android mode is available in the PWA as well.
Good to know. Haven’t dug in the menus in a while
Haptic feedback
The back button works better.
Yes it does. I’ve been on it since yesterday. Loving it.
Well for one, it actually works.

I saw in another thread that you were asking for a list of devices getting this error message.
Thank you! I don’t see any consistency in devices so far, I’m wondering if this has to do with Voyager’s “Mature” store rating?
I’m wondering if this is due to age? Voyager is “Mature” (18+)
Some Lemmy apps are Teen, some are Mature, it’s not very consistent.
