    The Smithsonian as a source! Golf clap, that’s setting the bar higher. Now we’ll start arguments about Chicago vs AP citation…it might destroy us.

      in fact my source was a french ex-History teacher who does youtube video that are all NCD quality label:

      I searched for more info like I always do after laughting at his videos to know more about the event. From a french point of view the Smithsonian museum seems to have a good reputation so I chose that article to share but the 1795’s Battle of Texel seems to be very well documented.

      And after all let be honest: France military history is full of NCD materials since it seems that we loved doing things the wrong way and makes it work nonetheless 🤣
