We don’t? The problem with nuclear waste is that it lasts millenia, and is super dangerous if your not aware of it. Nothing in the internet really falls into that category, and if it did, we can just delete it.
It’s important to archive culturally important data, not so much dangerous and harmful data.
Maybe we write a bunch of bots whose sole purpose is to tell Raiden to turn the game console off right now.
