Mainly got into this because I wanted to try out the new isle of man tt sim. went to www.yasdl.com and found it. Installed all of the parts but however I attempt to open them (winrar, then extracting the files (winrar, then using ultraiso, then using the setup.exe within, it always says that it isnt a Freearc archive/it’s corrupt) am I missing something major? I don’t really understand how to use torrents either. Apologies
yep, this one https://store.steampowered.com/app/1924170/TT_Isle_Of_Man_Ride_on_the_Edge_3/
Use this website, it’s far better : https://fitgirl-repacks.site/
Also, get qBittorrent if you haven’t yet. It is a torrent client, so if helps you download torrents. Imagine torrents like little files that lead to other files. If you download a torrent and double click it, it will open up on the client. Should you need any help please just ask!
ok, thank you so much :) And yep, I downloaded qbittorrent, just trying to work my way around the ui
Gotcha my friend. If you need more help just reply to this comment and I’ll guide you.
ok, thank you so much :) And yep, I downloaded qbittorrent, just trying to work my way around the ui. I pressed file, navigated to the one downloaded but it just says stalled.
VPN failed, apologies for the double message
No problem, take your time!

ok, thanks for the insight. I’m guessing I’ll need a paid vpn? Proton failed on me mid upload so now I wait in fear of the letter.

oh yeah, good point. I’m on windows actually. Just paranoid because I work for my ISP
You can bind qB to your VPN connection, so that if the VPN fails qB would not attempt to use your unsecured line.
(Sorry not in front of a PC right now. Don’t remember the exact settings page, but it’s a dropdown with a list of available connections on your computer)
I’ll take a look. I’m guessing there are no free p2p vpns? Don’t want to rush out and get a prepaid visa until I’m fully comfortable with everything. Would mainly be for games, and without access to steam achievements, I’m still on the fence about all of this.
Free VPNs are not real, but legit VPNs are cheap (~$5/month)
