Activism has historically worked best on Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit in the past. With the shift in those networks, we have to wonder about the Fediverse. The July 20-28 Week of Action is a good time to experiment!

A slew of bad internet bills are being pushed through the US Legislature. Can we look to the Fediverse to carry activist causes?

    Thanks the thing, when internet folks get riled up we can have a serious impact. Redditors have always been great at this – Restore the Fourth, the SOPA/PIPA protests in 2011 – and Lemmy and kbin can be a great vehicle.
