Good enough of a game to remaster, but not good enough to get a sequel. Makes sense right?

Lol, dont play it then. We are all having fun
Someone is desperate
Unsettling
I mean with so many movies, I would say it doesn’t matter at this point. I basically have always just rewatched the old ones. Not every old one holds up, but they have created so many quality Bond movies and games that I can just go back and get my fix again.
I would also argue that the concept of Bond is very out of date and doesn’t hold up in a modern setting. Its so fantastical and is basically middle age dude fantasy. Especially the aspects where young women just throw themselves at this older man. I did appreciate how the later Craig films seemed to acknowledge a need to move away from this. With partners he actually loved and female characters that carried over multiple movies.
Really, it might just be time for the series to die and that is okay.
Reading the article and finding out the surveillance UofA and the Edmonton police are conducting on their students. Unbelievable
Always a bad idea. Breakups happen for a reason and it’s always best to move on than hang on to a broken relationship.
Just checked my emails and both were pwned. Bummer
Agreed. I would add that when they noticed that GTA online got stale, they would add a dlc or some new vehicles and weapons. Some updates were good, but I bowed out the year they introduced the casino and the MX mrk 2. The mrk 2 was game breaking and so over powered that they had to nerf it later. The casino felt like they had stooped to the parts of society they had always made fun of. Its sad to think that the amazing single player studio has become just a cash in now.
I also hate that they have a terrible launcher that they make you use for all of their games.
Reminds me of GTA online
Oh no, we’ll have to use something other than terrible, AI ridden MS office? How terrible
So I checked the config for the external drive again and discovered when it was remounted it had added a, “1” to the end of the drive name. I went back into the .env and changed the library location to reflect this. Restarted docker and it is now connecting again. Obviously it is not ideal to be using a external HDD, but I wanted to test immich out for a while before investing into a bigger self hosting rig for all my services.
Ultimately problem solved though
Drive was just connected with USB to mini PC so it was also unplugged and I had to remount it to the PC. I looked in the .env file and the path still looked good. I had considered this was an issue too. I figured that restarting docker with the drive properly mounted would fix this though. Still getting, “connection was reset,” though
Still useful if you utilize calibre
Can confirm, excel is stupid as hell. Need to be a programmer almost to get it to do basic things
I think this really speaks to, “It’s not what you have, it’s who you have.” You could have millions of dollars and the biggest house in the neighbourhood, but you won’t be happy with any of that if you have a partner who is terrible and mean to you.
Happiness comes from finding joy from what you already have rather than longing for what you don’t.
My kindle has been on airplane mode for years and I read new books all the time with it, but hey, whatever works for you
This is why you never connect your kindle to the internet. Calibre forever
I feel bad for the kids put through this hell
They say this every year around this time. They act like consumers are changing when it is really that no one is interested in going to the movies in the first quarter of the year. A large percentage of people are not going to venture through snow to see a movie.
When the snow melts, people will go to the movies again. Film executives are idiots
