To be truthful, this video barely scratches the surface. The IOF has almost certainly massacred more queer Palestinians than any other organization in existence, and it has blackmailed others into committing espionage for the neocolony. Hamas may be conservative in some aspects, yet the neocolony can still be held responsible both directly and indirectly for its creation, and its fight against Hamas has only strengthened it overall: it has been eight months and there is still no Zionist victory in sight.

Likewise, the neocolony saw record number of anti‐LGBT+ incidents in 2022, and many of its officials are heterosexists. There is no same‐sex marriage (in fact, 56% of the neocolonists oppose the concept), no protection against housing discrimination, no prevention against ‘corrective’ procedures on intersex children, nor even constitutional protections (since there is no constitution).

It is true that the neocolony’s queer citizens have some valuable freedoms, like donating blood and adopting children, but this focus on ‘gay rights’ is too straightforward: depending on whom you ask, you’ll find LGBT+ people who can name problems that affect them more than heterosexism, such as poverty and child sexual exploitation; problems that are not really specific to LGBT+ communities. We should not be content to just legally bestow them with a bunch of rights and then call it a day. There are ways to support them in addition to reducing heterosexism and cissexism.

Yesternight I asked a Sephardi if antisemitism was the biggest problem facing him. Although he suffered it a few times, he admitted that it wasn’t: the capitalist exploitation of his island affected him and his family more. Did I give up caring about him? Of course not! Why should reducing antisemitism be the only way that I can support Jewish people?
